Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nature’s first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf’s a flower
But only so an hour
Then life subsides to leaf
So Eden sank to grief
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay

The poem is such a beautiful poem, why? It teaches us the morality with the connotation of words which are containing deep meaning. All of us are aiming to get the gold (money, position, power, partner/mate), but we have to remember that “dawn goes down to day”, the world will end and even gold can not stay. So, don’t do any bad things to get our gold, just follow the flow of life. Do the right thing anytime anywhere because everything will end. The happiness and those kinds of gold just stay for a while, “but only so an hour”.

Hope this message of poem makes us better and we always do the right things to reach our gold. And we have to remember there is no everlasting gold in our life.
